Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the opening ceremony at Nehru Stadium in Chennai, receiving a spirited welcome. 

Following the inauguration, he departed for Raj Bhavan.

Noteworthy dignitaries seized the opportunity to meet with Modi at Raj Bhavan.

Among them was actor Arjun, sparking speculation about a potential BJP affiliation. 

Arjun clarified to reporters, stating, "I invited the Prime Minister to visit my temple. It was a casual meeting, and he expressed his intention to visit soon. This marks my first encounter with Modi, a man I hold in high esteem. My entire family admires him. Learning about his visit today, we promptly sought an appointment, which he generously granted."

Regarding rumors of joining the BJP, Arjun dispelled them, affirming, "No, it's not true. I'm not well-versed in politics."
