Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Tiruchy and is scheduled to offer prayers at the renowned Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple in Srirangam on Saturday. Following this, he will proceed to worship at the Ramanathaswamy shrine in Rameswaram. During his visit to Srirangam, the PM will engage in listening to scholars reciting verses from the Kamba Ramayanam. Subsequently, in the afternoon, he will reach Rameswaram to perform darshan and pooja at the temple, as well as attend a recitation of devotional songs at the shrine. Often referred to as 'Boologa Vaikuntam' or 'Vaikuntam on Earth,' the Srirangam temple symbolizes the eternal abode of Lord Vishnu.
