Ravindra Jadeja, the renowned cricketer, finds himself embroiled in family controversy as his father, Anirudh Singh, makes startling allegations against Jadeja's wife, Rivaba.
In a candid interview with North Indian media, Anirudh Singh revealed a strained relationship between the family and Jadeja's wife. He expressed dismay over the lack of communication between them, stating, "We have had no contact with Jadeja and his wife, Rivaba. They do not call us, and we do not call them either." Singh lamented the situation, revealing that the estrangement began merely 2-3 months after their marriage.
Singh painted a picture of familial discord, attributing it to Rivaba's actions. He claimed that within three months of their marriage, Rivaba had all assets transferred to her name, sparking conflicts within the family. Singh expressed regret over the situation, suggesting that the marriage had caused undue suffering for the family.
Furthermore, Singh accused Rivaba of isolating herself from the family, preferring solitude over familial bonds. He emphasized the lack of harmony, stating, "She did not have a good relationship with any family members. There is only hatred in her."
"I can lie. Jadeja's sister may be lying. Would all 50 members of a family lie?" Singh emphasized the strained relationships within the family, alleging that Rivaba harbored animosity towards them. Furthermore, he revealed his sorrow over being distanced from his granddaughter for five years, asserting that Rivaba's relatives have assumed responsibility for her care.
Jadeja and Rivaba tied the knot in 2016, with Rivaba subsequently becoming a BJP MLA from Jamnagar North in Gujarat.
In response to his father's accusations, Jadeja denied the allegations, condemning the portrayal of his wife. He refuted the claims made in the interview, asserting that there are two sides to every story. Jadeja firmly stated, "Nothing mentioned in that poorly conducted interview is true." He defended his wife's reputation, expressing disappointment over attempts to tarnish it.
