The third Test match between India and England Teams commenced in the Rajkot Stadium yesterday.
In the Test match Shreyas Iyer was replaced by Sarfaraz Khan and K.S.Bharat was replaced by Dhruv Jurel.
Former India captain and maestro as a spinner, Anil Kumble presented Sarfaraz Khan with his Test debut cap.
Sarfraz Khan's father, Naushad Khan, stood on the sidelines during the cap presentation ceremony at the Nirajan Shah Stadium before the toss. Once the ceremony concluded, Sarfaraz rushed to his father, eager to share his most prized possession. Overwhelmed with emotion, they couldn't hold back tears, embracing warmly and offering prayers.Sarfaraz Khan's father Naushad Khan kissed his cap, hugged his son and shed tears of joy.
The picture went viral on the internet yesterday. Sarfaraz's father Naushad Khan said, "Initially, I thought I shouldn't go to watch the match. Because I thoughtif we were there it would put Sarfaraz under some kind of pressure. Besides, since I was a bit unwell, I decided to stay in Mumbai.
But Suryakumar Yadav ushered Naushad Khan he said, "Go to Rajkot. Moments like this never happen again, it only happens once in a lifetime. My father and mother were there with me when I got my test debut cap. So I highly suggest that you to be there when Sarfaraz gets his debut cap"
"After Suryakumar Yadav's persuasion, I couldn't help but go. I didn't want to miss that special moment. So I popped a pill and came immediately to watch the match", beamed the proud father of Sarfaraz Khan.
