Samantha Ruth Prabhu Returns To Work With Wellness Podcast After Seven-Month Break

Actress Samantha has posted on her Instagram story that she has returned to work from retirement. After a seven-month break, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is going back to work, but this time it's for a wellness podcast.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, an actress, announced on social media in 2022 that she had been diagnosed with myositis, which comes due to inflammation in the muscles.

Soon after that, she said she was taking a break after completing her previous work commitments.

The actress has now pleased the fans by revealing a new project. She said that she is "back to work" in a video that she posted on Instagram Stories.

Actress Samantha had been on rest for a while after receiving treatment abroad for her autoimmune disease, myositis.

Since then, she gradually began acting in films last year.

Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda last appeared together in Shiva Nirvana's romantic comedy Kushi.

The film, which received mixed reviews upon its release, also included Sharad Kelkar, Jayaram, Saranya Ponvannan, and others leads.

In addition to Samantha, Varun Dhawan plays the lead in Citadel. The actress recently disclosed that the show's dubbing has started, and it's anticipated that the series will air later this year.
The actress's next project is the Indian version of Raj & Dk's American web series, Citadel.

Following the second season of the popular show The Family Man 2, which starred Manoj Bajpayee in the starring role, this would be the actress and directors' second collaboration.

Following this, she posted in an Instagram story that she has now returned to work from retirement.

Samantha says, In a video “Hello! So, yes, I’m going back to work. Finally, But, apart from that - I know most of your questions are when are you going back to work, yes, I’m going back to work! But in the meantime, I was completely jobless. But, I also did something fun with a friend. It’s a health podcast. Yes, I know, quite unexpected, but it is something that I really really love, and something that I’m extremely passionate about. And, yup, it’s a health podcast and I’m very excited that it’s releasing next week. And I hope that some of you really find it useful, and I think I have enjoyed making this.”

The actor, whose last release was 2023's Kushi, said the health podcast would release next week.

"I hope some of you find it extremely useful. I have enjoyed making this," she added.
