Fahadh Faasil... He is a wonderful artist who not only gives life to any character through his realistic acting , but also familiarises the audience with that character in unforgettable fashion.
Fahadh's contribution to the character through small facial expressions and body language is immense, he has proved himself with every peculiar role he has acted in. Be it resentment, arrogance, shame, longing, humour, love, pride, heroism, frustration, disappointment, revenge, everyone who watches Fahadh's films will agree that Fahadh's performance is enough to define it.
In the last 15 years, there has not been a time without Fahadh's movie release. Even during the lockdown, four of his films were released on OTT platforms. From 2020, he has been entertaining the audience with his versatility. In 'Trance', Fahadh played Viju Prasad and Pastor Joshua Carlton characters, his command over physical movements, gestures, and expressions enhanced his performance. 'Irul' is a mystery thriller with just three characters , 'Joji' is a crime drama and 'Malik' is a political crime thriller, he has shown his range through these roles.
He has portrayed characters from the age of 20 to 60 with his versatile body language and mature acting. Fahadh has never played the hero, his style is to make the character he plays as hero of the story!
After seeing his stellar performances in Mollywood, 'Pushpa' came his way from Telugu industry. Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat( Fahadh's character in Pushpa) is as villainous as Allu Arjun. Everyone is familiar with the scene from 'Vikram' movie when the Rolex character demands to be addressed as 'Sir.'
But Fahadh has been there done that already, there will be a scene in 'Pushpa' where Fahadh asks Allu Arjun to address him as 'Sir' possessing mastery over his voice, tone and modulation. In 'Vikram,' Amar's character was the hero of the first half of the film. After acting in such a terrific mass commercial film, he went back to his zone and acted in the film 'Malayan Kunju.' A young man trapped in a landslide, in that situation acting can only be expressed through the face, with the mud sliding and being trapped in a small nook he expressed authentic emotions in a genuine fashion.
Three films starring Fahadh – 'Pachuvum Adbudavilakkum', 'Dhoomam' and 'Maamannan' – were released in 2023. In 'Pachuvum Adbudavilakkum,' he is a young man full of naïvety. In 'Maamannan,' he occupied the screen as Rathnavel, a villainous politician. The line 'Enna Palakkamney idhu?' became a viral meme template. Despite being a villain and a casteist politician, Fahadh ruled the Insta Reels with his intimidating acting. He has a tremendous line-up for 2024 as well.
This year his acting pandora opened with 'Aavesham,' directed by Jeethu Madhavan , the director of 'Romanjam' which was celebrated by everyone last year, 'Aavesham' will be released in April. Ranga plays a gangster, with a bold side burns, white shirt, white pants, heavy gold chains and cooling glasses, Fahadh is going to look like a character from a different dimension. Next up is 'Pushpa 2', Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil are going to exude their magnetic presence that is going the command the attention of everyone .
Bhanwarsinh Shekhawat is aggressively waiting to avenge the humiliation he suffered in the first part. It will be released in August. Next up on the list we have, 'Vetayan'. he is acting along with Rajinikanth in the film directed by T.S. Gnanavel. After 'Maamannan,' Vadivelu and Fahadh are teaming up for 'Marisan', it is being produced by Supergood Films, the shooting of the film has commenced.
After these films, he will act in a film titled 'Karate Chandran' directed by Rai. Fahadh is practising karate for the movie. Apart from these, there are some surprises as well . The announcement will be made soon.
