Thirumavalavan took aim at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming their service to the nation was more about helping big companies like Adani and Ambani than addressing real problems like poverty and unemployment.

He pointed out the gap between the promises made by Modi and the actual situation. Modi's commitment to deposit ₹15 lakh in everyone's bank accounts, supposedly from foreign accounts, was labeled a false promise. Thirumavalavan argued that the real beneficiaries of Modi and Shah's rule were not ordinary people but a select group of rich industrialists, especially those linked to the Adani and Ambani groups.

The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi organized the 'Winning Democracy' conference in Siruganur, Trichy, with Thol Thirumavalavan delivering the presidential address. He vehemently criticized Modi and Amit Shah, accusing them of serving Adani and Ambani. Thirumavalavan highlighted the deceptive tactics of the ruling BJP, emphasizing the need to safeguard democracy. The conference, with a national outlook, gathered over five lakh attendees, addressing issues ranging from corporatization to the imposition of Hindi and Sanskrit. Thirumavalavan asserted the movement's commitment to social justice and opposition to the BJP's divisive politics. The conference aimed to unite marginalized communities against the forces undermining democracy.

Thirumavalavan saw Tamil Nadu as a state of vigilant inhabitants resisting attempts to enforce divisive ideologies. He positioned the conference as a warning against orthodox forces, urging people to unite in protecting democracy and constitutional values.

Symbolized by three gates – Freedom, Equality, and Brotherhood – the conference aimed to embody the principles of the Constitution, especially the preamble. Thirumavalavan invoked iconic figures like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Karl Marx, and Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, highlighting their collective influence on the political landscape.

Expressing concern over the BJP's attempts to centralize power, encroach upon federalism, and impose Hindi and Sanskrit, signaling a move toward a Sanatan-dominated narrative, Thirumavalavan contended that the BJP's invocation of Lord Ram was a ploy to distract from substantive issues such as education, land distribution, housing, and employment. He firmly opposed the political exploitation of Ram Bhakti and criticized the divisive tactics employed by the ruling party.

The conference adopted 33 resolutions covering a spectrum of national issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to address prevalent challenges. Thirumavalavan emphasized the mass and national character of the movement, positioning it as a formidable force beyond the confines of regional politics.
