India Today News conducted a "The Mood of the Nation" poll across India, releasing its results amidst the fervor of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

With both the ruling NDA coalition led by the BJP and the opposition Congress-led alliance gearing up to secure parliamentary seats, the political landscape in India is becoming increasingly intense.

India Today has unveiled the exit poll results, shedding light on the projected Lok Sabha seat distribution and voting percentages for major parties in India's key states.

Tamil Nadu:

DMK'S INDIA ALLIANCE IS LIKELY TO WIN ALL THE 39 LOK SABHA SEATS IN TAMIL NADU.

INDIA ALLIANCE - 47 PERCENT

NDA coalition - 15 percent

Others are projected to get 38 percent of the vote.

West Bengal:

There are 42 Lok Sabha seats in West Bengal. According to the exit poll, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress is likely to win 22 seats, BJP 19 and Congress one.

Trinamool Congress - 53 per cent

BJP - 40 percent

Others are likely to get 7 per cent of the vote.

Kerala:

THE INDIA ALLIANCE IS PREDICTED TO WIN ALL 20 PARLIAMENTARY SEATS IN KERALA.

INDIA ALLIANCE - 78 PERCENT

NDA coalition - 17 percent

Others are predicted to get 5 percent of the vote.

Andhra Pradesh:

Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is likely to win 17 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, while the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) is likely to win eight seats.

YSR Congress Party - 41 percent

INDIA ALLIANCE - 3 per cent

The NDA coalition is projected to win 2 percent of the vote.

Karnataka:

Of the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka, the NDA alliance may win 24 seats and the India alliance may win 4 seats.

INDIA ALLIANCE – 42 PERCENT

Others are predicted to get 5 percent of the vote.

Telangana:

Of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana, the Congress may win 10 seats, the NDA alliance three, former Chief Minister KCR's BRS 3 and Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM 1 seat.

PRS – 29.1 percent

BJP - 21.1 per cent

Others are projected to receive 9.6 percent of the vote.

Uttar Pradesh:

In Uttar Pradesh, the NDA is likely to win 72 of the 80 seats. THE INDIA ALLIANCE IS PREDICTED TO WIN 8 SEATS.

Others are likely to get 12 per cent of the vote.

Delhi:

The NDA alliance is likely to win all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi.

Others are predicted to get 3 percent of the vote.

Bihar:

Of the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, the NDA alliance is likely to win 32 seats and the India alliance may win 8 seats. (The survey was conducted between December 15, 2023 – January 28, 2024, and hence, does not take into account the political changes that have occurred in the last few weeks)

INDIA ALLIANCE - 38 PERCENT

Others are projected to get 10 percent of the vote.

Maharashtra:

In Maharashtra, the India alliance will win 26 of the 48 seats (Congress - 12, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena + Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress 14) and NDA alliance will win 22 seats.

Others are projected to get 15 percent of the vote.

According to the India Today-Mood of the Nation exit poll, the BJP-led NDA alliance is likely to retain power with 335 seats, short of the 272 required to form the government. THE CONGRESS-LED INDIA ALLIANCE IS EXPECTED TO WIN 166 SEATS.
