Upon returning from Ayodhya today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a new initiative aimed at assisting people in setting up solar panels at their homes. Inspired by the belief that 'all devotees of the world receive energy from the light of Suryavanshi Lord Shri Ram,' PM Modi expressed his commitment to the environment.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi stated, 'The first decision I've made after returning from Ayodhya is the launch of the "Pradhanmantri Suryodaya Yojana," with a target of installing rooftop solar panels on one crore houses. This initiative not only aims to reduce the electricity bills of the poor and the middle class but also contributes to making India self-reliant in the field of energy.'

During his address, PM Modi, who led the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, emphasized Lord Ram as 'energy' and proclaimed today as the 'dawn of a new era.' He added, 'Ram is not just a fire; he is an energy. Ram is not a dispute; he is a solution. Ram is not just ours; he belongs to everyone.'

Celebrating the evening, PM Modi lit dias at his Delhi home, expressing his joy over the pran pratishtha of both Ram Lalla's idol and the unbreakable unity of India. The Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, fashioned in the traditional Nagara style, stands supported by 392 pillars and features 44 doors. The pillars and walls showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities.

Temples across the country announced special festivities on this occasion, and Indians abroad joined in the celebration. From Washington DC and Paris to Sydney, events were planned in various parts of the world by the Vishva Hindu Parishad.
