During his visit, Governor R N Ravi actively participated in the religious rituals, offering prayers at the shrine of Ranganathar and other deities within the temple premises. Notably, the governor and his wife took part in the ritualistic cleaning of the stairs, underscoring the importance of cleanliness and purity in temple precincts.

Addressing the media following his spiritual sojourn, Governor R N Ravi shared profound thoughts on the pivotal role that temples play in the social and cultural fabric of Indian communities.

He articulated, "Temples are central to our lives. Before the formation of a village, temples will be built there. The development of those villages will be centered around it. Temples are a gravitational force in that respect."

Reflecting on the historical context, the governor acknowledged that the significance of temples had been somewhat diminished during the colonial period but emphasized a revival of these cultural anchors. "Now the country is once again becoming Ram," he expressed, alluding to the renewed enthusiasm and collective spirit inspired by the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

In a broader context, Governor R N Ravi underscored the universality of Lord Rama's presence, stating, "The consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has brought joy to people across the country. The reason is that Lord Rama lives in everyone's hearts."

Moreover, he called upon not only the temple administration but also devotees to play an active role in maintaining cleanliness within the temple premises. The governor drew parallels with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's national cleanliness campaign, urging citizens to extend the same commitment to cleanliness in public places and private spaces.
