Kamal Haasan's highly anticipated 234th film, 'Thug Life,' is set to be a multi-starrer featuring powerhouse talents Trisha, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Joju George, and Gautham Karthik. Initially slated for a December start last year, the film's shooting was delayed due to Kamal Haasan's commitments to 'Bigg Boss,' along with his involvement in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and Shankar's 'Indian 2' and 'Indian 3.'
Now, with 'Bigg Boss' nearing its conclusion, the spotlight is back on 'Thug Life.' The trailer reveals Kamal Haasan in the role of 'Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker,' delivering an action-packed punch dialogue hinting at an intense storyline. Contrary to earlier speculations of it being a sequel to 'Nayakan' or a 'period film,' the team has debunked these notions.
Directed by the maestro Mani Ratnam, 'Thug Life' boasts a stellar technical crew, including A R Rahman for music, Ravi K Chandran for cinematography, Srikar Prasad for editing, and Eka Lakhani for costumes. The ensemble, now joined by Malayalam actor Joju George, is set to welcome a star from Telugu soon.
