Union Minister V Muraleedharan, hailing from Kerala, criticized the cyber attacks on KS Chitra, questioning the Kerala police's apparent lack of intervention. He pointed out the selective outrage, emphasizing the need for tolerance across diverse expressions of faith. The minister remarked that while individuals can freely discuss the auspicious seasons of Ramzan or celebrate Christmas, Hindus should not face restrictions on expressing their views.

Opposition leader VT Satheesan of the Congress supported KS Chitra's right to express her opinion, condemning the cyber attacks as an act of fascism. Satheesan highlighted the importance of freedom of expression in a democratic society.

In response to the controversy, CPM minister Saji Cheriyan urged the public not to escalate the situation. He emphasized that the Supreme Court has approved the construction of the Ram temple and that everyone has the right to express their opinions. Cheriyan encouraged those with faith to participate in the Ayodhya event while respecting the diverse perspectives within the community.

As Ayodhya prepares for this historic occasion, the incident involving KS Chitra sheds light on the complexities surrounding religious sentiments, freedom of expression, and the role of social media in shaping public discourse.
