India : 75th Republic Day Celebration | Live Parade From Kartavya Path

On the momentous occasion of India's 75th Republic Day, the nation witnessed a spectacular parade, blending tradition with innovation and a strong focus on inclusivity. Departing from the norm, the historic Kartavya Path saw an inspiring all-women tri-services contingent from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, symbolizing the strides and empowerment of women in the armed forces.

A poignant highlight unfolded as Major Jerry Blaize and Captain Supreetha CT scripted history, becoming the first couple to march together in a Republic Day Parade, adding a personal and celebratory touch to the grand event.

The cultural panorama featured the talents of 100 women artists showcasing their musical prowess, resonating with the beats of Indian instruments along Kartavya Path. The 'Aavaahan' band, comprising 112 women artists, delivered a powerful display of strength through a diverse array of folk and tribal percussion instruments.

A breathtaking ode to India's timeless gift to fashion, the 'Anant Sutra - The Endless Thread' installation adorned Kartavya Path, displaying nearly 1,900 sarees and drapes from every corner of the country, celebrating the rich heritage of Indian attire.

In a significant aviation milestone, the Indian Air Force's C-295 medium transport aircraft made its debut in the Republic Day flypast, while the indigenously-built Tejas aircraft soared through the skies in a formation of four, showcasing India's technological prowess in aviation.

Guiding the nation's celebrations, President Droupadi Murmu led from Kartavya Path in Delhi, making the 75th Republic Day not just a reflection on the past but a bold step into the future. The parade echoed the spirit of progress, unity, and the unwavering resilience of the nation.
