"Animal" Controversy: Huma Qureshi Advocates for Action Films & Diverse Choices

'Animal' was released on December of last year. It was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of 'Arjun Reddy' fame, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.

The film received wide criticisms for being a patriarchal film despite the sucessful box office collections. While some people have given negative comments to the film, some have also given positive comments.

Praise For Machismo, Music And Performance

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who has acted in films like 'Kaala' and 'Valimai', has praised the film 'Animal'.

"I really liked Animal. I enjoyed the film and I liked its machismo, action and music.

Exciting For A Performer

"I think we need to make all kinds of films. As a viewer, it is your choice whether you want to see the film or not.

Like 'Animal,' I also want to act in an action film, killing thousands of people with a machine gun in my hand."

"Films like 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and 'Animal' are always exciting as an actor," she said, speaking about the problems and controversial characteristics of these films.
