Actor Sathish, currently starring in the upcoming film "Vithaikkaran," recently held a press conference in Chennai ahead of its release on February 21st. During the event, he discussed his experiences working with actors Vijay and Udhayanidhi Stalin.
"Vithaikkaran" marks the directorial debut of Venki, who previously worked with Lokesh Kanagaraj as an associate director on productions such as "Master" and "Vikram."
The film is produced by K. Vijay Pandey under the banner of White Carpet Films. Alongside Sathish, the ensemble cast includes Simran Gupta, Anandraj, Madhusudhan Rao, Subramaniam Siva, John Vijay, Pavel Navageethan, and Japan Kumar in pivotal roles. While plot details remain under wraps, Sathish revealed in a recent media interaction that the film is a black comedy.
Regarding Vijay, Sathish shared, "I met Vijay before he launched his political party. He actually mentioned he enjoyed my film 'Conjuring Kannappan,' which made me incredibly happy. Having someone of his stature acknowledge my work was a milestone moment in my career. I wish him all the best in his new endeavors."
Speaking about Udhayanidhi Stalin, Sathish said, "No matter his position, Udhayanidhi has always been someone you can reach. Even now as a minister, he still picks up the phone and helps out, just like he did when he was an actor. He's kept the same number for years. He's simply the best person I've ever met, and his genuine character will surely lead him to great things."
